After a week and a half in Long Beach and a college road trip throughout California, I made it up to the Gorge with my family and teammates from Windclub Hawaii. The first day there it was gusting over 30 knots! Every day I would wake up, pick blackberries, rig my sail, and then go sailing. This was the most wind I ever sailed in and I was skeptical if I could do it. After a couple hours I didn't even think about how windy it was because I was so excited about how fast I was going. In just 10 days in the Gorge, I fell in love and I made some amazing memories that I will never forget.
