My Bio
Who I Am
I live in Honolulu, Hawaii and I began windsurfing in 2016 when I was the only girl in my class. Since then, I have windsurfed around the world and helped start Windclub Hawaii, a non-profit dedicated to supporting athletes invested in water and wind sports. I've traveled around the nation to Long Beach, Hood River, Miami, Clearwater, and San Francisco to compete in Olympic Development Camps and Olympic Class Racing. I'm working towards qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics!

Experience
What I’ve Done
November, 2021
IQ Nationals
I placed 2nd at Nationals. It was a rough event with lots of interference from the seaweed which was really disappointing. Didn't do as well as I wanted to or know I could've, but it was an amazing learning experience and I won't make the same mistakes!
July, 2021
ODP Camp in the GORGE, Oregon
I placed 1st in the Gorge Windfoiling Champs in the Female Division. It was hardcore racing with extreme conditions and winds over 30knts! This week-long camp was amazing and I had so much fun honing my heavy wind skills
July, 2021
Long Beach ODP Camp and OCR
This was the first event of the summer circuit and we had a range of conditions with the races ending with super light winds. I was really excited to race against sailors from the U.S and Mexico and I'm really happy that I placed 2nd in the Women's fleet.
August, 2021
San Francisco ODP Camp and OCR
Sailing in San Francisco Bay was AWESOME! Despite the extremely cold weather (relative to Hawaii) I had an amazing time training and racing with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. With lots of wind and wildlife, I can't wait to come back here again. I placed 3rd at the OCR in the 8.0 m division, which was not what I wanted but I learned a lot and was able to fix my mistakes during my training back home.
More information on my experiences so far can be found on the blog page!
